- We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1; John 10:30; Matt. 28:19; Heb. 9:14)
- We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, and is true God and true man. (Isa. 7:14; Matt. 1:18-23; Luke 1:26-37; Col. 2:9)
- We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments as verbally inspired of God and inerrant in the original writing, and that they are the supreme and final authority in faith and life, are to be interpreted literally, and are to be read in the plain and normal sense of the words. (2 Peter 1:21; 2 Tim. 3:15-17)
- We believe that man was created in the image of God, and that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death which is separation from God, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature, and are utterly incapable of choosing or doing that which is acceptable to God, apart from divine grace. (Gen. 1:27, 2:16, 17, 3:1-19; Rom. 3:23, 5:12, 6:23; 1 Cor. 15:22)
- We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures as a vicarious (substitutionary) sacrifice, and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of faith in His shed blood. (Acts 13:38; Rom. 4:4, 10:9-10; Gal. 2:16)
- We believe that those who hear the Gospel are under moral obligation to repent and believe the Gospel and the only reason they do not is their own willful opposition to it, so they are left wholly without excuse. (Rom. 1:18-23)
- We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into Heaven, and in His present life there as High Priest, and Advocate for us. (Luke 24:1-43; Acts 2:32; Heb. 7:25; 1 John 2:1)
- We believe in the blessed hope, which is the imminent, pre-tribulational, pre-millennial Rapture of the Church (1 Thess. 1:9, 10; 4:13-18, 5:1-11); and after the Tribulation, the personal, bodily return of Christ to reign on the throne of David for a thousand years. (Rev. 20:1-7, Matt. 25:25-31)
- We believe in the bodily resurrection and judgement of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the conscious everlasting punishment of the lost. (John. 5:28; Rev. 20: 4, 5)
- We believe that all who receive Jesus Christ by faith, are born again of the Holy Spirit and are thereby made the children of God, sealed by the Holy Spirit, and preserved unto the day of redemption. (John 3:5, 10:28; 1 Peter 1:23; Rom. 8:35-39)
- We believe that all the saved are called into a life of separation from all worldly and sinful practices, are under the authority of Christ as Lord of their lives, and are under obligation to all the world by life and word to the truth and proclamation of the Gospel. (Rom. 10:9, 10, 12:1-3; 2 Cor. 5:14-18; Acts 1:8)
- We believe that all who place their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately baptized by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual body – the Church – (1 Cor. 12:12, 13), which began on the day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-21), of which Christ is the Head (Eph. 1:22, 4:15), and which is His espoused bride. (Eph. 5:23-32)
- We believe that Baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper are commanded by Christ, to be continued by His Church until He comes again. (Matt. 28:18-20; 1 Cor. 11:23-33; Acts 2:38-42)
- We believe that the first day of the week is the Lord’s Day, and ought to be devoted wholly to public and private worship, a day of rest, and attending to spiritual things, all to the glory of God. (Heb. 4:9, 10, 10:25; Col. 3:17, 23)
