Outreach

Home and foreign missions are a vital part of West Somerset Baptist Church. We contribute to the support of missionary families with both finances and prayer. We hold a Missions Conference annually. As our Missionaries return to this area they are invited to address the congregation during Sunday service.

West Somerset Baptist Church supports 14 different missionaries/mission projects serving our Lord in various parts of the world and is the sending Church for two of them. Many of the missionaries we support have direct ties with our church or our area of Niagara County. Please join us in prayerful support of the following missionaries:

  • Phyllis Lawecki. Working with International Students Incorporated at University at Buffalo.
  • Colin & Susan McClure Church Ministry in Nebraska with Global Outreach Ministry.
  • Joe & Jenny Mifsud Serving in Malta with Baptist Mid-Missions.
  • Ed & Debbie Rothfus. Ministering at Rift Valley Academy in Kenya with African Inland Missions.
  • Mark & Marlene Staples working with Wycliffe in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
  • Janette Sullivan Serving Christ in Ulan Ude, Russia with Send International.
  • Alex True. Good News Jail and Prison Ministry at the Niagara County Jail.
  • Jonathan & Kathy Wilson Translating the New testament into the Binadere Language in Papua New Guinea with Wycliffe.
